I grew up in beautiful Santa Barbara County, where the weather is sunny year-round and you can eat overpriced seafood right on the beach.

I earned my associate’s degree in Journalism from Santa Barbara City College, where I wrote for the Arts & Entertainment section of the student newspaper. It was there that I took my first Public Relations course—and quickly realized how much I loved the strategic side of storytelling. I became fascinated by how brands use visuals, stories and messaging to connect with their audience.

I transferred to Cal Poly in Fall 2025, where I’m now earning my bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations. Through my coursework and creative projects, I’ve developed an interest in marketing, brand communications, business advertising, and creative content.

I’m especially drawn to how creative expression through visuals can intersect with a strategic voice to shape a brand’s identity, and how that turns an audience into a community.

To me, art isn’t just a luxury—it’s something we use to make sense of life. I want to keep creating with purpose, combining creativity with strategy to make content that not only looks good, but makes people feel something.

With love,

A note from me…
