I grew up in beautiful Santa Barbara County, where the weather is sunny year round and you can eat overpriced seafood right on the beach.

I graduated with an associate’s in journalism from Santa Barbara City College, where I was a writer for the Arts & Entertainment column on their student-run newspaper. Soon after, I took my first Public Relations course which I didn’t realize I would love so quickly. I learned the impact of strategic storytelling, and I knew that I wanted to work more in that realm of journalism.

I transferred to Cal Poly in Fall 2025, where I’m now earning my Bachelor’s in journalism with a concentration in Public Relations.

My passion for storytelling has been lifelong, and I’m excited to continue working more in multimedia journalism, digital marketing, advertising, public relations and social media strategy.

To me, art isn’t just a luxury - it’s something we use to make sense of this life, and ourselves. So I plan to keep creating with purpose, and with the hope that my work will communicate meaning to the people that consume it.

With love,

A note from me…
